We’ve taken the performance even further with an integrated internal transmission cooler — 50% larger than the OEM unit!

This delivers outstanding transmission cooling, eliminating the need for an external trans cooler in most builds. Perfect for built A340E, TH400, or Powerglide automatics, and street/strip setups running serious power.

Design Features:
Core Thickness: 2.0" (50 mm) thick, high-efficiency aluminum core
Improved Cooling Capacity: Significantly increases coolant volume and surface area over OEM, reducing coolant temps under high load or race conditions
Pressure Rating: Includes a 1.1 Bar (16 psi) radiator cap
Cap Location: Positioned at the highest point for easy bleeding and coolant fill.

 

Construction:
Material: Precision TIG-welded all-aluminum construction
End Tanks: Fully-welded, high-strength aluminum end tanks (not crimped like factory)


Direct Fit Installation:
OEM Fitment: Drop-in fit for 1993–1998 Toyota Supra (MKIV / A80)
No Cutting or Modifications: Utilizes factory mounting points and accepts OEM fan shroud and radiator hoses (when using OEM configuration)

 

Transmission Compatibility:
- Standard Model: Designed for manual transmission vehicles, or vehicles utilizing standalone transmission coolers, this version eliminates the internal cooler as not transmission cooling is needed.
- Optional Internal Transmission Cooler: The PHR internal transmission cooler, now available  for automatic transmission cars, boasts a MASSIVE increase in transmission cooling capability with over 50% larger internal volume and surface area. This increases flow through the cooler and a huge increase in cooling capacity.

 

Fan Compatibility:
Fully compatible with both OEM fans and aftermarket fan shroud/fan kits
Can be paired with PHR’s brushless fan kits or electric fan upgrades.

 

Connection Options:
OEM Hose Style: Uses standard rubber hoses for plug-and-play installation
-20AN Fittings: Optional upgrade (+$100) for racers using AN-style coolant lines for maximum flow and reliability under high pressure



Finish Options:

Available with various powder coating options as well as polishing service.
