Most aftermarket crankshafts do not come with the oil pump crankshaft drive gear. The OEM oil pump drive gear is press-fitted onto the factory crankshaft, so the OEM gear cannot be purchased separately from Toyota. Pressing the gear onto the crankshaft allows the gear to drive the oil pump. The Tomei oil pump drive gear is designed with high precision for perfect oil pump and crankshaft-stub fitment.
